AIPP inks new partnership with Aon

Melbourne, Australia, 10 July 2017 – The Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) is delighted to announce a new partnership with risk and people advisers, Aon.

The partnership will see Aon endorsed as a recommended insurance partner and provider of retirement and health solutions to the 3,000 members of the AIPP.

Peter Myers, Executive Officer of the AIPP, says this partnership is a co-operation which will see both the AIPP and Aon combining “their shared ethos in a long term commitment to promoting the art of photography and all of the experiences surrounding it”.

“We’re excited to be working with Aon who share our philosophy of working together for the benefit of the professional image making community in Australia.

“We are more confident than ever that APPA will continue to evolve and go from strength to strength with the ever growing involvement of our members and the continuing support of Aon and our other committed trade partners,” says Mr Myers.

Simon Calabrese, Client Director, Entertainment & Leisure, Aon says they are thrilled to be supporting the professional imaging community.

“Aon has been servicing the professional photography industry for over 20 years and our sponsorship of the AIPP further exemplifies our commitment to the industry.

“We are living in an interconnected and volatile world, where the needs and the risks photographers face every day are constantly evolving. Our partnership will allow us to encourage more professionals to understand the need for comprehensive insurance, risk management and financial planning.”

Aon is also the Platinum Sponsor for the 2017 Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA), taking place in Melbourne next month.
