Aon announces 2020 industry scholarship open
Sydney, 20 February, 2020 – Aon (NYSE:AON), Aon and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) are proud to announce submissions for the annual Aon Scholarship are now open for 2020, offering an exceptional educational opportunity for an industry professional.
Now in its sixteenth year, the Aon Scholarship was established by Aon and ANZIIF to recognise an outstanding insurance professional and future leader of the industry, build and strengthen insurance industry links for Australian and New Zealand insurance professionals internationally, and provide recipients with an opportunity to act as ambassadors for the company they represent.
“With an opportunity to analyse the key issues significant to our industry, our scholarship provides insurance professionals the opportunity to not only develop professionally and network with leading figures, but also help navigate our industry and inspire possible change. This year’s topic of the industry impact of climate change in 2050 is a concern for us all and will create excellent discussion and debate,” said Robert De Souza, President APAC, CEO Australia and New Zealand, Aon Reinsurance Solutions.
The winner of the scholarship will attend the 55th Annual Aon Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar in London from 22 June – 2 July 2020 and gain an invaluable understanding of the principles and practice of arranging reinsurance on a global scale.
The Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar is highly regarded around the world as an outstanding educational opportunity for insurance and reinsurance professionals.
